Create room data
Capturing data is generally not an easy task so we have created a process that enables the moving specialist or the client to collect room and content information in a spreadsheet or by direct data entry. The room data can then be used by the client to update the destination placement in the new home. A load module then uploads that data into the database.
We capture the dimensions of each item to ensure that it will fit where we decide to place it and we also capture a image of the item.
When deciding what to keep and what to dispose of you can select room items that can be transferred into a Collections list if you decide to auction them, sell them or gift them. Collections can be artwork, wines & spirits, jewellery or other categories.


Planning the transition
Downsizing involves selling existing homes so the planning tool enables a series of projects to be set up for readiness to sell, disposing of items, moving, setting up the new home, and transferring utilities and services.
We provide solutions to help the moving specialists and the client to plan the whole operation. The project plan contains tasks with proposed action dates and owners of each task, their action status, and the timeline so you can check your readiness at every stage to ensure that the planned work is capable of being completed on time.
We have found through many years of project experience that putting in the effort to plan projects pays dividends during the execution of the plan. Our mantra has been "Fail to plan, plan to fail".


This is the detail part. There are checklists for: Downsizing, Photoshoot Readiness (for sale of your existing home), Disposing, Auctioning, Moving, and Changing Address.
Knowing what is going to the new home and what is being disposed of with a detailed manifest of items going on the truck, all labelled with their eventual destination in the new home, brings certainty to the whole moving process.
The identification and plan for items to be disposed of either through gifting, selling or dumping is a project on its own and is as crucial as those items that are being retained.
