With over 50 years specialising in IT development, operations and consulting we have seen huge changes in technology as we learned new ways of doing things during those years.

As a result of coming to grips with every generation of technology when we are challenged with something, we look at how we can use the latest tools to overcome those challenges.

The latest challenge that emerged was the personal experience of needing to downsize our own home and still maintain a professional business.

When looking at what it would take to accomplish that it was obvious that all the years that we had put into planning projects and our belief in technology making that task easier, we saw an opportunity to deliver a service to people who moving homes through AI (artificial intelligence).

Because we are going through the experience of downsizing and moving to a retirement village we have developed an innovative planning tools to assist people that are moving to work through the whole process during their transition, as well as all those organisations involved.

We define movers as clients and know they will see such a move as daunting so gathering the information about what is kept, what is disposed of and what is handed off to family has to be simple but effective. This is a time when sensitive decisions are made and then recorded.

We also recognise that most elderly couples are probably not going to be tech savvy so we used system tools to make the planning and execution simple to use.

Avanti has assembled a planning tool that uses current technology, empowered by AI to capture what's in the current home and where it will end up in the new home. Using our in-depth expertise in project planning and delivery we have created a process that can be used by village operators and moving companies as they work together with new clients.

We have also included checklists and project planning capabilities that ensure that important steps are planned and executed.
